Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrueCite (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. TrueCite is operated by AI Collective Labs Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Description of Service

TrueCite is an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) platform that tracks brand visibility in AI-generated answers and generates content recommendations to improve that visibility. Features vary by plan as described on our pricing page.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use TrueCite. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Not share your account with others

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent any security measures
• Use the Service to generate spam or misleading content
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Overload our infrastructure by making excessive API calls
• Track or impersonate brands you do not own or have authorization to represent

5. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method via Stripe.

• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. After that, payments are non-refundable.
• Price changes: We'll give 30 days notice before changing subscription prices.
• Taxes: Prices shown exclude applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout.

6. Intellectual Property

Our IP: TrueCite, its logo, and the platform are owned by AI Collective Labs Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

Your content: You retain ownership of the business information and content you provide. By using TrueCite, you grant us a limited license to process your data to deliver the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

TrueCite uses Claude (Anthropic) to generate fix content recommendations. This content is provided as-is. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before publishing. We do not guarantee that publishing this content will improve your AI visibility scores.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee specific MentionShare score improvements, uptime (we target 99.9% availability but do not guarantee a specific SLA), or that AI engines will cite your brand after using our recommendations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Collective Labs Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of TrueCite. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll notify you of material changes via email.
